“For us it was almost impossible to get groceries, to go to work, to do any of the day-to-day activities that we need to do,” said Linda Andre of Denver.
The Town Hall was organized by the Denver Commission of People with Disabilities and facilitated by Steve Charbonneau. The bulk of the meeting consisted of residents telling of recent experience and suggesting solutions. City officials seated on the front row turned their seats around to face the crown and listen.
